What type of training and licencing do your guards have?
Our guards are licensed and trained in accordance with the Security Act of 1988. It is mandatory for ICorp Security professionals to hold the following licenses:
- Cert II in Security Operations.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) for licenced premises.
- Working With Children Check Certificate
All ICorp Security staff receive regular core training to ensure they are fully trained on the latest technology, service and security operations. We encourage a client service focused approach with our team and discourage the use of heavy-handed security techniques.
How many guards do I need to hire for my private function?
This will depend on the number of guests, location and a few other variables. However, in general a minimum of 2 guards are required for parties with under 100 guests. Licensed premises may also have other requirements for crowd control. Contact us to discuss your next function and we will be able to provide you with more accurate estimates.

Do you provide security for large events?
Yes, we provide security for events of all sizes. Our goal is to help event managers run safe, secure and well protected events. Our event guards are hand-picked for their strong interpersonal skills. We do not encourage a heavy-handed approach. Our event services include but are not limited to:
- Crowd control (for both liquor-licenced and alcohol-free events)
- Event perimeter patrols and protection
- Asset and property protection (prior, during and post event)
We have experience working on events of all sizes from community events, school musicals to large music festivals.
Do you offer guard dogs and canine patrol services?
Yes, we can offer guard dog and canine patrol services. We recommend a canine patrol for high risk sites with complex security requirements. Dogs are a strong deterrent for intruders and can effectively patrol large open spaces. Guard dogs are also recommended for sites that a vacant or empty (especially at night).
